Prop D Stipended Canvasser Sign-Up Form

This November, St. Louis City residents will be able to vote to change the way that we elect key public officials-- our Mayor, Comptroller, Aldermen/Alderwomen, and President of the Board of Aldermen. Prop D makes three significant changes to our voting process:

  • First, it creates a nonpartisan primary, meaning that you get to vote on ALL of the candidates, not just the ones affiliated with your political party.
  • Second, implementing approval voting means that you have the ability to approve--or disapprove--of every candidate on the ballot. Rather than just voting for one individual, you can choose all of the candidates that you would find to be acceptable to hold the office, increasing the power and voice of voters citywide.
  • Finally, the two candidates with the most votes in the primary election advance to a meaningful run-off race in the general election.

We're looking for individuals who are interested in canvassing over the next six weeks to distribute Prop D literature to voter homes. We'll be engaging in non-contact lit drops, so we'll just be leaving lit at voter homes rather than knocking on doors.  We're pleased to be able to support canvassers with a stipend for their service as needed. Canvassers will paid at a rate of $0.25/house. Our canvassers can typically hit 40-60 houses per hour, meaning that they can earn $10-$15/hour. House will be tracking through our canvassing app and canvassers will be paid weekly.

Please fill out this form to indicate your interest and someone from our team will get back to you shortly to confirm your assignment.

Want to canvass as a volunteer instead (no stipend)? Sign up here.
